Have you got a date for moving out yet hun, sorry I havent had time to pop over to your diary and see what you're up to :o

The best thing I've made in my slow cooker is rice pudding, so easy and so scrummy, my stepmum cooks her meat in there, and it is so gorgeous and tender! I don't use mine as much as I should, I struggle though as OH is a fussy Bu$$er and doesn't eat gravy on anything, so casseroles and stew are out?! I can take or leave casseroles, especially sausage yuk yuk, but stew, yum yum!

Right think I might treat myself to a baileys, going to get all my naughtiness out of the way in preperation for my diet starting on monday. Am setting myself out a healthy diet meal plan too :D

Feeling very positve and chilled, mind you that mind me the wine:D:p

    Nevermind.

OH should be on line later hopefully so atleast I will get to speak to him. I do miss him when he's away, but atleast it has given me time to get my head round my finances etc.

As long as hisselfs credit and reference checks come back ok we *should* be doing the inventory and getting the keys Friday, so moving in on Saturday. Bit annoyed really I couldn't get the bed delivered to the flat but they'd only deliver to the registered card address which is here until I get the tenancy agreement sorted and can have a wander around the banks again changing everything.

I've got to start looking for recipes really, at the moment I very rarely cook thanks to having almost no food storage space and feeling like I'm in the way if I go to use the kitchen when the family are in there, sounds silly but I think I'm more excited by the idea of being able to buy tubs of icecream than I am living with the boy!

oh hun how exciting!!!!! you sound like me, I have so been there!! You will love having your own kitchen, I only got to use my own a year ago, and have taught myself to cook, so if you want a recipe for anything im your girl, they are all my own put together recipes to my taste and to make it easier, as I tend to mix and match recipes, so just shout if you need help with anything.

No doubt I'll be taking you up on that - most likely as a distraction from the studying we both should be getting on with!

Hope you got to have a nice chat with your OH if he's been online yet. x

Morning, I had a lovely nights sleep and feel all refreshed ready to start the day. I have sorted the chickens and then decided to sit outside on the step and watch the world wake up, it was lovely, really peaceful.

Have just come back to bed with a cuppa and am thinking of things to do today, my aims for today:

Tidy up the mess I made decluttering!!
Whizz up the ragu I made yesterday.
    clean up the kitchen
    get the eggs out
    put the washing away
list atleast 5 things on ebay.

Now thats not that hard, I think I should be able to manage all of that and then some.

I spoke to OH last night, and he's well on board with the new meal plans, in fact he was really excited about trying them, yaaay, makes my life so much easier if he's up for the challenge too.

Be back soon, going to relax and enjoy my cuppa.

ok I've sorted the ragu although much to my disappointment, because I made it veggie it tastes and looks exactly like tomato soup!! Which isn't a terrible thing as I love tomato soup, just works out at a very expensive soup. Going to try it on pasta anyway and see what it astes like! Have washed up and put the blender and slow cooker away...... will have to get my thinking cap on on how to make ragu again but do it right this time!!

Have just had another croissant! I love them, and I am extra please because I was going to throw them away as they were well past their sell by date, but they didnt feel stale so I stuck them in the freezer, and 30 seconds of microwaving and they are perfect! Even having coffee this morning too :D how very civilized and european of me :rotfl:

Hmmmm just going through mysupermarket and having a look at prices etc, and my goodness what a difference between the supermarkets!!! I mean even the value stuff differs hugely. Now my local is t£scos but I pass an @sda when I go to my mums, I can easily get to sainsbugs too but the prices in sainsbugs are by no means anywhere near t£sco and @sda, well for the things I buy anyway, I know some people find them cheaper for their shop. I haven't looked at M0rrisons as I would have to make a special trip to go, hmmm..... mind you I pass one when I go to my sisters which is a couple of times a month, I wonder if I could work that in too, sounds like a lot of trouble, but the difference in price is amazing. For instance the things I have in my trolley on mysupermarket differs from t£sco at £66.93 to sainsbugs at £83.04, and don't even get me started on acado at £120!!!! Mind you I do love w£itrose and used to shop there a lot, I love the quality etc.

I think from my workings, I can go to tesco and asda and get my whole shop, we tend to shop monthly, or I do, OH is now forbidden for going shopping due to his liking for BOGOF's!!! He used to spend £120 on himself for a week:eek:, god knows what he bought..... but along I came to teach him the error of his ways:D, bless him, poor boy little did he realise that when he met me, a few months later he would be eating tesco value peas and HM bread :D obviously not just those, think we would have had a full blown riot on our hands if that was all he was dished up

He's definitely one of those men that the way to his heart is through is stomach :D hence why now I am not a bad cook, had to teach myself somewhat quickly when I realised his love for food, but his distinct lack of cooking skills!!!!:rotfl:

Sorry went off on a tangent there, oh for those who are wondering why I have spelt all of the supermarket names funny, I read somewhere, not sure if its true mind, but that they get money for each time their name is posted or published!! And I think they have enough money off me already without me adding to their pockets!! Meany aren't I lol

Right, cuppa then decluttering, feeling motivated this morning, which is a nice change, maybe my New Years resolutions are actually started to make sense to my tiny tea filled brain :D

    Clothes first, then toiletries, eeeek!
