Sorry I'm with the men on the alloys, can't stand to see them damaged, but accidents happen and sometimes its just a slight catch that does it. You can have a wheel refurbed for about £25.
But if you were spending a fortune in fuel in the Beetle the camper will be terrible . I take it thats a VW too?One small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!

Hey hun, see my edit above!!! I do feel really bad now, I hate seeing scuffed wheels too to be honest, just as I didn't remember it didn't think it could be that bad!!! These can't be refurbed, these aren't scuffed they are dented, I am rubbish at driving!! Yep the camper is a VW but its new ish, its a people carrier thing that has been converted, so isn't as bad, and its diesel. Am thinking of trying to come up with a way to afford a mini, new shape but a good few years old, as I need something a bit more fuel effective and more reliable than the beetle!! Have stuck a for sale sign on the beetle, so fingers crossed. Everything is changing but still haven't got my head round everything so promise to post when I do.

Edit noted
. New shaped Mini's are well over priced and not that efficient. Good luck selling the Beetle, they usually go pretty quick.

Beetle is sold guy is going to pick it up next week, got back what I paid which is going to OH as he is going to give me his car as its more economical and practical than a mini. So thats one thing sorted and I was going to buy the mini out of my money so I would have had to get a loan which would have meant trying to pay it off which would have been rather difficult as I earn a pittance, so it has all worked out pretty well.
Need to work out a plan to pay off my CC as I usually pay it off every month but this month I can't, It'll take a couple of months to get pay it off but I am certain I'll do it, think I might cut it up after that, don't really like having it, it is just to easy to spend spend spend!
Not got many plans for this weekend as OH has literally just gone away, going to have a good old sort out I think and try and get some of my stuff on ebay again as it has just been languishing in the spare room, that'll help me pay off my CC!!
Right I think I might even have an early night!!!

Have actually been thinking of ways that I can save some money, really need to reign it in with the direction that my life is taking at the moment. I am going to cancel my insurance as I am on OH's for his car. I am going to cancel the internet on my phone which I'm not using. So both of those will save me £30 a month. I am going to drive carefully I have got out of the habit and did it today and I can see the miles per gallon are much much better than when I drive ridiculously. I have got to absolutely stop buying lunch, two lunches this week cost me £5!!
So that should keep me going for a little while!0 -
