Thanks everyone, we do a photo card every year, used to be of our dog then last year was Spud & the dog but now the dog is getting older & less willing to pose when he is likey to get handfuls of fur pulled out or a finger in the eye so just Spud this year. Must admit, we did get some very funny looks when we nicked a bag of garden leaves from someones rubbish pile on the pavement earlier this week & even funnier comments from our neighbour when she heard us in our garden tipping the leaves all over Spud!:rotfl:
Fortunately the joy of digital cameras is that if you take enough photos one of them is bound to turn out well, and the joy of the software is that you can give them professional touches like the sepia finish;) I've just printed the pose out on watercolour canvas & it will make a fab framed pressie for the MiL....if she doesn't beat us to it & frame the card first!

But I think it proves that even the artistically challanged can create home made personal cards for pennies, sometimes it's just a case of thinking outside the box a bit!:D (For birthday cards we take a photo of Spud holding up a piece of card with "Happy Birthday" written on it!)
Post Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p

In England we have Mothering Sunday & Father Christmas, Mothers day & Santa Clause are American merchandising tricks:mad: Demonstrate pride in your heirtage by getting it right please people!
