            Astonsmummy!
Last year my step-mum paid me £1.50 per card to make her 10 that she wanted to send to only close family and friends. This year I am moving house in 4 weeks time and was going to keep my crafting kit firmly in the cupboard but you have inspired me to get the kit out and do it all again!
Tomorrow I will be getting up as early as I can (days off so not too early!), tackle the mountain of ironing so I can clear the kitchen table, and then the kit is coming out of hibernation for some fantastic use for the rest of the day!
Thanks so much for getting me started again!:xmastree:"Life may not always be the party you wish for, but whilst here you may aswell dance"!!!

Here are the cards I made for work this year, although the design is simple and could be used for personal cards...
I made 300 of them complete with personalised, pearlescent inserts with all staff signatures which had been scanned into the PC. Now I have plenty of time to work on my own cards for family and friends. Last year I made 250 in a similar design and was featured in one of the card making publication's (Quick Cards), which led to many phone calls from people asking where I got my tree die cutter from!!!
The tree shape is made using a wooden die cutter which is compatible with the Sizzix machine (not sure about Big Shot, etc because I don't have one. It is from www.cross-cuts.com - it is cheaper to get them direct than off ebay as people charge silly-money for the dies on ebay (- I don't think they take into account the currency conversion and charge for what it is in dollars  !). They charge $9.99 (equiv. £5.23) to ship to the UK. As a guide, I bought 3 dies in one shipment and only paid $9.99/£5.23 postage! They have some lovely shapes, well worth a look!
The thing I love about dies shapes is that if you're not particularly artistic, it's really easy to create stunning cards just by sticking a shape onto a card blank! Plus, in terms of mass production, you get great value for money - lots of die cuts from a single die!
Oh, and I get my card & envelopes from http://www.pdacardandcraft.co.uk/. They are absolutely brilliant, really friendly people, excellent prices on card/paper/envelopes, etc. Highly recommend them and their delivery is quick.0

I was ill last wek and made a few Christmas cards. I made mine from cut up used cards from last year - along with stickers, glitter and backing paper. I think they look not too bad! Though I struggle for dieas on layout, i just want to make everything symetrical LOL. 0 0
