My mate has these boots. They look gorgeous on but aside from that she is a hairdresser and on her feet all day and says they are very comfortable

This is true, lucky as I bought 3 pairs (size 4, 5 and 6 - I vary in size between shops lol) so will be returning 2 pairs (or all 3 if they're uncomfortable).

just to make you aware, newlook changed their returns policy on the 26th of december, and you can no longer have refunds on sale items (or store credit)! they will do an exchange for items in store apparently.

Their website still doesn't mention this though so dunno if you could put your foot down by taking a copy of it in with you if you need to return stuff?

sadly this is true as I found out after buying lots of items in the sale boxing day (wasnt told about new policy) and then trying to return one of them a couple of days later. The receipts dont have the new policy on there are just some small signs in store by the tills which arent easy to read and you have to read the 2nd para for the bit about sales. I put my foot down and got vouchers.

Yes you do - but with new look stuff how do you prove when you received it? I ordered some bits on 24th december (2 weeks ago), it was dispatched last friday 31st and its just been delivered today by Royal mail (hence why I am up).

Does the new returns policy even apply to online goods? doesnt mention it on the invoice thingy or website.

there is a lot about this on the vent page - someone tried to exchange 2 sale items for another item (value was higher of new item) and they were told it had to be an item for an item. :eek::eek::eek:

I just received my boots. Amazed they got here so fast as they were only ordered yesterday afternoon with the standard free delivery. They fit perfectly and I don't have the thinnest calves. Thanks again OP!

You can return any products delivered to any UK address to any New Look UK store for an exchange or refund within 28 days after you receive the products. Please note that with effect from 26 December 2010 our refund policy on sale items changed. Sale items purchased on/or after this date will be eligible for an exchange only. Pretty impressed with NEW LOOK. Boots ordered yday at 2pm and received this morning.. on free del... great service.. and the boots are lovely and comfy too!
