I telephoned them in the end and explained that I had sent them every document that I could and that I simply wasn't going to use them anymore. The person I spoke to was very helpful and removed the restrictions there and then - hope that works for you...
Thanks for that - will ring them tomorrow as they're driving me mad!!**Keep Calm and Carry On!**0 -

Stitchy - your IT skills are impressive (I have worked in a computer science department, and you would be amazed at the lack of this type of common sense even there - I was )
Erme - you are in the right place here - you 'fit into our criteria'
Emsky - Wow, your boss pays for Friday lunch??? :T
Pernicious - we agree, we all decided at work how 'long' a week it had been, given that it was actually a short one
Suzie Wong - My DD2 and I both bought nice soup pots in none other than Mr S whom you are trying to avoid - it is a copper bottomed, stainless steel stock pot which cost £15. Check it out!

Hey folks , am aware I haven't posted for a while and some of you know life has been a bit difficult to say the least so a quick update is due.
Between christmas and new year I started to think about life in general. Decided that I didn't want a part in a harsh world and would build a bubble round myself. Seems a bit mad but it was a start to a new positive frame of mind.
Since then I have taken steps forward and with my positive outlook my luck seems to be changing.
- I approached a non public service company to see if they had a training position , they didnt but asked me to visit them with my C.V. We got on well and she was impressed with my CV. Told me a few places to get extra free training that would help me get a better job and gave me a contact at university to help convine my employers to allow me study time. She also said to speak to her regularly as she hopes to have a training position this year and had already told her bosses she wanted me ! Even if the post doesnt materialise I am a lot more savvy about things and feel I will be out of my hateful job by the end of the year. This also gave me the confidence to respond to my managers continual ' you have a time management problem ' with a 'thats rubbish and you know it' and she agreed , so hopefully we won't hear that again.
- I applied for a 0% credit card from martins email , didnt think i stood a chance as only just closed an account with them. Just got an email to say it has been accepted so can balance transfer my horrid one in a few days.
- I swapped energy suppliers at christmas and came home today to a cheque from my old one for being in credit.
So im hoping that my positive frame of mind will bring real results and banish the horrid years for good. It is going to be painful financially as i may have to reduce my hours at work and pay course fees but it could lead to a better paid job in a better environment with better prospects.
Im gonna keep popping in here and there as I have developed some good habits here.
Best of luck in 2011
:T That's fantastic news picasso :j:j:j I'm so happy you've had a run of good luck, long may it continue - I have a good feeling for you
