    Hi Diamond

Yes I'm afraid that most envelope stuffing things are a con. There are machines and companies that specialise in this and there is no way that they would pay someone to do what a machine can do.

As a general rule dont think about sending money to any company that requires money to register as most of these companies do.

In the mortgage free board there is a thread called the great bit on the side hunt. You will find some great ideas for home based work there.

    Good luck!

The usual routine is that you send them cash for a "starter kit" and they promise to pay heaps for anything judged acceptable (nothing ever is...). Applies to many other "homeworking" scams - cash up front is normally a bad idea.
  • I can confirm it is a scam.

Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
