The Tesco Clubcard Butlins voucher con

We've just had the same experience booking Siblu today.
The website showed a price of about £1,300. When we called and said we would be paying using Clubcard vouchers, we were told the price was actually around £1,600. We asked why the £300 price difference and were told this was because we didn't qualify for certain "discounts" if we booked using Clubcard.
In simple terms, you are paying an extra charge to book using Clubcard vouchers, since non-Clubcard bookers seem to qualify for some undefined "discount". It's probably legal, but that's not the point. The point is they are recouping some of the full cost of the holiday by charging you extra if you pay using Clubcard.
It is a terrible way to treat your customers, whether legal or not.0 -

so if you book online, siblu are giving you a £300 discount
but if you book using tesco vouchers you have been given a £1600 discount, seeing as the vouchers technically came free with your shopping
i agree, tesco are really ripping you off. you spend all your hard earned money in their shops and on their services, and then they have the audacity to give you a holiday for free, as a thank-you. what is the world coming to when, the government cant legislate against this. this loophole needs closing now!
