Cancel and take a new policy with cashback. I've done it before with other companies, more fool them. Shoudn't be that much hassle. You might not even need to send proof of NCD, once the policy is in place just ring them and point them towards your old policy.

    Is what i was thinking.

Along the same lines of my gf moaning about the £75 Nationwide were offering last year for shifting payments thing.

Phone call 1: I'd like to NOT renew thanks.
    Ok sir.
    Bye

Phone call 2: I'd like to take out insurance with you.
    Ok sir.
    Thanks.

    If that's hassle....

It is pretty common for ins co's to auto renew a policy,
  • First year Admiral policy = £710 for 10 months with £500 excess.

Second year Admiral policy renewal with 1 year no-claims discount = £772 for 10 months with £500 excess (WHERE IS THE DISCOUNT!!!!)

£75 cheaper if I type the same details into Admiral website.

Screw you Admiral, i'm off to Aviva where its £200 cheaper and only a £350 excess!
  • My son recently had a go on confused.com and Admiral came up cheapest at £606. He then tried Go compare and Admiral was again the cheapest but at £720

Yeah they've been the cheapest for me 3 years running now

Funny thing is, i put the same details for me into Admiral (or any compare site) and i get it cheaper than my renewal

Do the same for my gf's policy & it can't come close to her renewal fee.
