DAMN! I've Just been caught by a Speed Camera! Are These any Good?

DAMN! I've Just been caught by a Speed Camera!

Just got a fine of £60 and 3 Points, I did have a clean license! Before all the PC people jump on my back. I know, I shouldn't speed & i know, I've only got my self to blame...yes yes I'm sorry It's my own fault.

Anyway..I was gonna get one of those detector devices ages ago but never got round to it. Gonna get one now. My mate has said 'Snooper' are the best. Seen this one on Ebay, looks like it will do the biz, but I don't know what all the techie stuff is & i don't really wanna know!

Just if someone could just say "yeah that's the thing" then I'll get it.

Seen this one, still got 2 days or so on it

Thanks

    Thanks

I personally wouldn't bother with this one as it is not good enough.I bought one of these and it goes off only when you are on top of the Gatso camera.I would spend more money and get a better one.
Look at the Snooper website for more info mate.

    Ben.

Being sold 'as new' always worries me as it means different things to different people. Personally I would avoid anything that was not guaranteed brand spanking new, there are some cheap deals online for reputable traders if you Google.

I agree Origin B2, clear warnings and in plently of time i also have road angle navigator and i still feel origin b2 is best saved me on plenty of occasions. but will not stop camera vans clocking you none of them can.

Spend more and get a decent system not a cheap one, my father in laws got a cheap one and its rubbish goes off when passing shops and traffic lights etc.
Get a GPS system or you will regret it

"Origin B2" - It's not text speak, it's a model of GPS camera locator.

(I thought it was text speak too, 'til I Googled it on the off chance).

Cheap one won't save your licence.

You need one with GPS camera location or not worth buying, those ones you shown go off with traffic lights, garage door remotes and all kinds, blooming useless. They don't pick up any of the new cameras like Truvelo etc.

Also the government are on about banning the NON GPS laser detection units. Therefore if this legislation comes in what you buy will not only be useless but also illegal to use.

Don't have to buy Snooper, IMO Road Angel 10 times better but there are also other cheaper models about if you look with GPS
One day I might be more organised...........
