Are you a female breadwinner in your family?

The Daily Mail is looking for case studies for its article on the rise of the female breadwinner. Details below:
I'd love to talk to some female breadwinners and their partners about how the reversal of traditional roles has affected their relationships - for better and/or for worse. Was the women becoming the breadwinner a positive decision or was it something drifted into or that happened because, for example, the male partner was made redundant? Such relationships are becoming increasingly common so we need to all learn to accept them and make them work.
Couples interviewed would need to have a chat with me on the phone and be prepared to take part in a photo shoot (involving hair and make up being done!). If you're interested you can email me at Julialls@hotmail.com

do they get paid? after all, when you're a breadwinner "time is money".Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot, are fools, and those who dare not, are slaves. - Lord Byron0

Define breadwinner - I earn around 2x what my fiance earns but we both work and both contribute (albeit I pay more)I am a Mortgage Adviser

I'm a female breadwinner, but I'm not sure I want to be in the daily mail discussing the ins and outs of my finances and relationship.

Knowing the DM, it will turn the male "non-breadwinner" into a work-shy scrounger, laying around on the sofa all day whilst his poor wife works her fingers to the bone to keep him in plasma tv's and games consoles!

She'll also be extremely bitter and somehow the whole 'pityable' situation will be caused by feminists.
I do generally enjoy Mail-baiting, but this week I read an article about a report that 38% of women marry men who earn more money than them. Cue hundreds of comments that women are all golddiggers and feminists have ruined the country! No-one seems to have noticed that 38% is a minority.0 -

Although I earn slightly less, I would say my wage supports us, as OH has debts and pays a frankly extortionate amount in support to his ex. OH pays me board when he can.
That said, there's no way on earth I'd let the DM caricature our relationship and make my OH look bad. His situation is a sore spot for him, the man has his pride!
I suspect the DM journalist will have few takers, women are generally more sensitive to the blow the male ego takes when he's not the hunter-gatherer...
My OH is worth far more to me than a make over and photoshoot.
Think long and hard ladies, the DM is hardly renowned for its journalistic integrity and unbiased reporting style....

And no doubt being the female breadwinner is a potential cause of cancer, as is everything else in the DMWho made hogs and dogs and frogs?
