NTL charging FOUR POUNDS PER MONTH for non direct debit payments!!!!

Just got a letter from NTL, they are going to charge £4 a month for non direct debit payments! This is awful, I have no wish to set up direct debit with them, over the last 2 years they have got the bill wrong at least 50% of the time!!!!!!
£4 per month for what????? Does it really cost that much?
