T-Mobile Proof of Usage
Does anyone know how to get a proof of usage letter from T-Mobile for my insurance company?
So far the foreign customer services call centre have given me a proof of purchase, an itemised bill, and a phone number for something that turned out to be 'the gadget hotline'.
Any help on what has turned out to be a three month long insurance claim procedure so far would be great.

You need to make what's called a Subject Access request in writing, ask for the date range that your specified IMEI was used in their network.
Before you do, look up subject access as this is a formal request and attracts a small charge.0 -
I have tweeted the T-mobile support page on Twitter before. They take about a day to reply but they always have spot on information and seem to know what they are talking about. That might be worth a go?0

thanks guys,
I had a manager from T-Mobile call me and give me an address to write to, but then rang back and said he had found the info and would post it to me but when it arrived, yet another itemised bill.
I'm going to write to the address, combined as a letter of complaint. I'm certainly never going to use T-Mobile again after this!0 -
Just a day over two months now and now my claim is completed! I've just got off the phone to pay the access and I'm now waiting for a special delivery envelope to send them my damaged handset.
I am also on t-mobile and am insured through their partner company 'fonesafe'
Proof of usage is simply a list of calls/txts/data with times and dates and the imei of the handset that they came from,
A long story cut short, they can give you proof of usage, they can even confirm it for you over the phone!, ring the UK offices on this number and hope you get through to the Wales offices, ask them that you want to know the last few calls and txts sent from this IMEI and they will tell you there and then and will arrange for it to be sent to your insurers, ideally your insurers should ask t-mobile directly instead of you0
