It's not a problem with the VM Bradband,it's your PC.
Are you trying to connect wirelessly?0 -
It sounds like your pc is trying to connect to a bt openzone hub, install of your VM hub0

i dont know if this works but i did this to remove a wirless network from my pc ( same thing kept happening )
go into your wireless network connection (just click on picture of the pc with 3 little signals at the bottom righthandside of pc)
you should get a box open that says wireless network connection
click on view wireless networks (another box opens )
click on change advance settings
another box will open called wireless network connection properties
click on wireless networks at the top
you should see a list of prefered networks go to the bt home hub /open zone and remove it this should stop it from being picked up in your wireless settings0 -

So you are using an ethernet (cable) connection between your PC and your cable router? No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Sorry its taken while to get back to you. When I open network connections - nothing comes up so don't know what to do next.
Any suggestions?0 -

Either is fine. Sorry but you need to give a bit more info about whether you are using wireless or ethernet, so that people can give you relevant help.
If your wireless connection has failed, the first step is normally to plug in your ethernet cable to see if that works. If it does, you know that it's just a wireless problem.
It would also be helpful to know the make and model of your cable router. No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Thanks for the info - will have to return to this later. Main computer connected via ethernet cable - its a netgear Wireless G router WGR614. Any further suggestions. Thank you for your help so far.0
