  • I used to have fruit dipped in chocolate so felt like I was being good and giving baby nutrients but still got my choc fix and small boost to calories you need when feeding. Took just 5 mins in an evening to do a plateful ready for next day. Also used to have bread sticks dunked in a jar of choc spread but that's not very healthy.

    Good morning.
Mummy I like the snackajacks - the caramel ones are yummy!!! But so do the kids and a pack doesnt last very long in our house lol.
Rags - yummy :) Sounds like a good plan to have a mixture of good and bad :)

I did my online shop yesterday and then when i went to send it to Asda (free delivery code so though I would give it a go) it all dissapeared and I didnt get a chance again so Im redoing it all now!! Hate when things like that happen and I always tend to lose orders or it doesnt all go through ok...... Trying to get it as cheap as we can but it was still about £65!!! For a week shop is cheaper then it has been but im using loads from the freezer so not needing much meat and its still costs lots......

DH works latest thing going round is that they wont be making redundancys as they think things will pick up again soon.........BUT they are going to lower everyone to a 3/4 day week!!! We will be so tight if thats what happens and not sure we will be able to do it or not....DH thinks it would only be to the summer hols as they have a few schools which want work doing over the summer hols so fingers crossed it would only be for 6 weeks. But will see what they say yet - they seem to not know whats going on either. Also DH still hasnt got a copy of his contract even though he has asked for one LOADS of times now grrrrr.

Got Swimming later and going to have to get some bread from the shops so will be a small spend again today. Have a beef casserol in the slow cooker ready for dinner and it smells yummy.

Poor DS1 is having loads of trouble with his teeth at the moe and such a little grumpy one - bless him. Hope they cut through and stolp hurting him soon

    HAve a great day x

Um no advice on snacks im afraid other than keep drinking, lots of lots of fluids needed when you are being a moo cow and making milk! Glad the problems are sorted out and good news OH probably wont be redundant but yikes to 3/4 day weeks!!

    Hello.
Well DH hasnt been paid yet but the man he works with has. The person who does the wages is away on holiday now till the 3rd so fingers crossed he has put it in early(and its making its way over to our bank?) otherwise our DDs will go out before the wage goes in....... meaning loads of fines!!! Im sure it will be ok?
Have had a overpayment from the tax credits for adding on ds which is great and will give us a little more money for the holiday! I just want to do a SOA and get it all sorted for next mth now but cant till we know how much will be getting from wage....

Still havent done my shop and its looking soooo bare now so MUST sort that today. I am going to get till the following weekend so that I wont have to go next week in half term and can go at the weekend when DH is home....thats the plan anyway

Pipsmum I am soooo thirsty all the time at the mo no matter how much I drink!! So keep drinking all the time.

Might have to make some flapjacks later as i know oats are great for feeding and till im off my medicin I need to be carefull to keep my suplly up :) - any excuss :p

DS2 is crying so best go and sort him x

Well i tried a different recepy which i read on here and it was HORRIBLE lol So cant even force them down but dd1 likes them so she can enjoy them all and ill make some more :)
Today is a high spend day as ive got the shopping come but thats all we should spend........ Looked in bank and have £0.22p in there so dont think will be doing much at the weekend as ive only got about £6 in my purse aswell - opps. Everything has come out dd wise and we will have enough food when it comes so im not worried and the £6 can be saved for if we want to go anywhere next week and need parking money.

Not been paid so who knows when that will go into bank now!! I bet we end up having DDs coming out before DH is paid!! They always muck his pay up some way. Lucky we have some savings (to cover the paternity pay and holiday) so wont be charged as ill just trasfer that over - but its not the point!!!

Anyway not much on today. DD1s school has some house tournament this afternoon so if its nice will go watch that.
Better go as ds has started crying again - thik he doesnt like me on MSE and trying to sort the pennies:p

Well we have had a lovely weekend :) Love long weekends!! Dh has this week and next week at 4 day weeks (bnk hol and next friday we go on holiday!!) We didnt spend much money which is always a bonus :) Had to put £10 in the car (from holiday fund :( ) because we went to my parents and had no petrol!! But we had a lovely day and got fed so made up for the spend lol. Yesterday we just had a lazy day in the house (weather was horrible!) played the wii with the girls.

Today ive got to go over to town - dd has been invited to a party tomorrow so need a present and also might go into home bargains when over there as saves petrol later in the week. Also might go to aldi and get some cheap fruit as we are running out quick!!

DS is at it again!! Bless him he relly doesnt like me on here :) (also doesnt like me to eat as he ALWAYS wakes up just as dinner is dished up or ive got a snack etc)
