Mrs Moo - ISBN is, er, actually I don't know what it stands for :p but it's the unique identification code (usually at the top of the bar code) I think on the back of a book. Have a look - it'll have ISBN written in front of it.

International standard book number. :o (I worked in a bookshop once upon a time for a wee while.)

Santa Claus and I have been in discussions about the merits of a Kindle. Santa Claus's idea as she loves her e-reader. I'm less convinved - but it would be handy when I enter the next chapter (sorry!) of my adventures as carting 3500 books to the other side of the world might be a bit more cumbersome than if Santa does hand over a kindle!

MrsM, my lightbulb was flickering for a good two years before I finally tightened the loose connection. I'm sure it's all part of the process and no doubt all of us remember it. MrC is well on his way there now. :T Next part of the process - noticing when the bulb starts flickering and sorting it before it blows. :D You'll notice when he reaches that point before he does because you already do that bit!

Ah, now Mr C discovered that Kindle can be downloaded to PC and in turn shared between a Mac, iphone, ipad etc. We dont have Iphones and Ipads but we do have a Mac and he has a laptop. He has duly downloaded the software and has been looking for free downloadable e books etc. See I said that lightbulb is flickering. :)

Just managed to avoid travelling for work tonight. Will be getting up at an unimaginable hour tomorrow morning but it is much more preferable to staying in a soul less hotel for more than one night.

Hi Ladies, yep very quiet. Dont feel like I have much to say at the moment so just lurking and popping up now and again. Will get back here when I work out what it is I should be doing/saying/planning. I feel a bit jaded with it all at the moment to be honest.
