mcafee will rarely find a virus
avg is pants
the only mcafee that any good is the endpoint protection which is a corperate version but people very rarely have it at home as its pricey its probably the top one along with symantic endpoint
if a virus is made correctly it can be out for around a month before any virus software detects it by which time the damage is done or details stolen and they just rewrite it. The new virus's are crypted in run time and scan time making them even more undetectable0 -
Well uninstalled McAfee and installed Avast 5 and malwarebytes, all seems ok, lets hope it stays that way!!
Thanks for all your advice again
