I am so pleased that your lovely cat has come home
Its a really nice feeling to have them back safe and sound. I must admit i have just had both mine microchipped incase either of them decides to go wandering again! Glad she is back x 0 -
I'm SO pleased for you! I cried when I read she was back!
At this time of year it's very common for cats to shelter in car engines (don't ask), so always worth looking under cars, too. I never, ever let mine out in the dark now for the reason you say - you can't go hunting for them. At least in the daytime you have daylight to look. In winter this means my two get very little time outside - but they're home-loving cats anyway, so they're not bothered.
Very pleased you have a happy ending!
KiKi' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0 -
Ah Im so pleased to hear she came back :j
I just logged in to see if anything had happened and was so happy to see your post!
And maybe the hoover bag did the trick! Who knows but fantastic news you must be over the moon.
:T0 -
fantastic news, cheered me up. It sounds like she got shut in somewhere. When my cat (RIP) was only 18 months old, he got shut in a nearby house's cellar for a week and I nearly went mad. I remember the sheer joy when I got him back too.
Best feeling in the world isn't it?0 -
Dollparts - I've just read this thread and am so glad for you she's back! I have a lump in my throat I have to say!
Being a cat owner myself, I can understand what you've been through. We had cats when I lived with my parents and our ginger cat Chloe, went missing for a whole weekend and all of us were beside ourselves, she turned up on the Monday, looking a bit bedraggled, but god only knows where she had been.
My own cat Cindy (who has sadly passed away now), would go out for hours on end, definitely the adventurous type, she would come back wet and soggy. I tried not to worry about her too much, as that was the type of cat she was. If only cats could talk, they would definitely have some stories to tell!
I have 2 cats now. Sophie is 17  and barely moves away from the fire now, so no worries there. My other cat Mia, is 18 months old approx and she doesn't wander off far I have to say. I go outside and she usually appears as soon as I call her. She loves her home comforts too. She came from the RSPCA and was already chipped.Striving to clear the mortgage before it finishes in Dec 2028 - amount currently owed - £17,496.340
