Do Tesco usually charge the price stated on the SEL of meat where there is both a SEL price and a price on the pack?

As I see that a lot of people seem to get R&R on meat all the time.

Does the price on the packaging ever get charged instead of the sel regarding meat purchases?

    Thanks for any replies

That must mean they are overcharging lots of people with their meat :(

But I suppose we're trying to balance that out ;)

I see. So it's possible that other departments have the ability/access to run fresh/correct labels for the shelf and not have to go through the scanning on and off?
    .

Yep. Hell, I don't even work for Tesco, but even I've printed out and changed the odd SEL in my time (was lent an ID card to swipe, as the staff member didn't know how to print out SELs, to enable me to print off the new SEL). You've seen the blue box thing in one of the aisles? This is one place where staff can quickly and easily print off SELs. They need to swipe their ID card to log into the system before printing out labels. I threw the old out of date labels in the bin in the warehouse.

It's time to make that change.

Sorry to ask this question, but have scrolled so much that my eyes are still going up and down? Would someone kindly tell me how you use ASDA coupons in Tesco? Is there a limit, such as 10% off shopping total or anything like that?

That explains the earlier post of playing splinter cell on the 360 on the Sony Bravia HDTV;)

In order to print out a SEL using the computer terminal and printer in the little blue box thing, you need to scan the actual item you want a SEL for. So, say I want a SEL for Nescafe coffee...I have to scan the product to generate the correct SEL. If it can be done another way on the computer terminal thing, say using SKU codes, I don't know about it. As said, I don't work for Tesco.
