When you go through the till, the till not only spits out your receipt, but also a coupon or two to get extra clubcard points when you buy the required items. These are tailored to your spending habits (clubcard database info), so apply to stuff you'd normally buy.

Nevermind them reading it on MSE! They should have read it on HOST. Still, they did nothing about it. To me, that rules out the defence of due diligence on mispricing items. They knew about it, yet didn't act. Therefore, it's intentional.

Getting back on the Xbox 360 R&R

Clearly many have had success with their refunds and some have not.

The fact that some have is surely an admission of guilt (or acceptance) on the part of Tesco......or not?

I'm assuming the R&R receipts are marked accordingly - if these were presented to Tesco, how could they dispute the claims? There would also need to be proof that the Evo game was indeed £37.... at the time. Potentially anyone buying the pack during the early part of last week would be able to argue for the R&R.
