Of course a seller worries about feedback..why wouldn't we.

I just got a blooming neutral with 'All OK', hmm.

Since feedback dictates whether a seller can sell on eBay or not, it's important to worry about.

So what? I buy and sell and just dont bother anymore.

Some people used to complain when after I had received something I had paid for, I just posted. "received Item OK".
I mean, what do they want? A party? I won the item, I paid I got it.

    'Important" ?
You actually think Ebay cares? There are sellers on there with such horrendous feedback, but Ebay let them continue so long as they keep the money rolling in.
You even TELL Ebay about fraud someone commits and they do little.
I bought an outboard engine from a Business seller on Ebay. It arrived and was nothing like it was described, it didnt even work. Ebay didnt care when I told them. Paypal refused to refund. I sued the seller in the Small Claims Court and won. I told Ebay....they did nothing, He's still on there trading.
Its money Ebay is interested in, not its users.

You use Ebay at your own risk, and ignore the feedback

OOoohh i wonder what feedback I should leave for the item I received today.I won it on 11/12/10!!!!

Ahh please consider before you do that it possibly could have been stuck in a backlog either with RM or any other delivery courier they used. I know it has been a long while but there is a possibility here that it wasn't their fault. What date was on the postmark?

Are you sure you sell on ebay? Feedback certainly does matter to a seller if we want our lovely selling discounts to keep rolling in. Although of course stars are actually much more important as a couple of 1 or 2 * on the expanded seller dashboard and bang goes the discounts for a smaller seller.

Much as I agree in spirit, putting that last bit just makes you sound argumentative and stoops somewhat to their level. Just post the facts and let other people work out the last bit.

I'm a bit fed up of selling on ebay now myself as too much gets lost in the post,

If you are getting a lot of losses, check how you address items as mistakes or illegible addresses could be to blame. If you think it's your handwriting, use printed address labels, and always use indelible pens (I use sharpies for addressing jiffy-bags) or other waterproof markers to make sure rain does not erase the address.

I use a printed label and fix it with glue and sellotape and still loads go missing even with my return postage address heavily stuck to the package, none has ever got back to me when lost.

How about the silly punters who do not read the advert like one I have just had. I am selling a phone on Orange network. It says orange in the title, it also says Orange in the sim lock, and it also says Orange in the body of the advert. Then some bright spark has messaged me to ask what network the phone is on.
Plus you get the wombats who do not read the advert properly and give you 1*/2* for item as described because they didn't read the advert.
