  • Thank you everyone, seems like oven pride may be the way forward. Mum says she puts the shelves in a hot bath with bio washing powder, tried it last night and worked fine. Not as good for the rest of the oven though so looks like i'll be out to get oven pride. Have got a leaflet, local guy charges 26.00. I'd love to ring him and have him do it but can't spare the cash. I'm saving that little treat for another time.

    For the Glass door IF YOU ARE VERY CAREFUL you can put a bit of the Oven pride mixture on the glass and clean off.

    Do put something under the door though in case it drips ;)

    put some oven pride in glass jar and use a brush to put it on to the glass door of oven place newspaper underneath to catch drips leave good couple hours then wipe off
