The issue of title I suspect keeps a lot of lawyers busy so there is most likely not an easy answer. I did find the following statement but it is only someone's comment not professional advise:

The basic law relating to the sale of goods states that when goods are the subject of a contract of sale, title shall pass from the seller to the buyer at the time specified in the contract, but that if the contract does not specify a time, title shall pass upon the delivery of the goods.

The above is also from a discussion in a totally different context where goods are delivered before payment and the buyer owes money.

I am very interest to know on ebay when title passes from the seller to the buyer and in the case of of the OP who owns the item.
