Contract Cancellation

Hey guys,
I know, I know, probably another thread about cancelling contracts, but I've been unable to figure out an answer for my situation, and I know that everyone thinks their situation is different, but mines does confuse me a little.
I currently live in a flat alone, where I've been since last February. When I moved in I set up with Orange Broadband and mobile at £25 a month for both services. I am however currently unemployed (hopefully not after interview tonight:)), and am about to lose the flat. The contract on the other hand is for another 6 months (I think... awaiting confirmation).
What I think is going to happen is that I will move in with my girlfriend. She currently has BT Internet, and is 3 months into an 18 month contract.
What I really need to know is if there is anything that can be done about the contract. I am going to lose my flat due to lack of money, and thus another 6 months charges to cancel the internet is out of my possibility. On the other hand, we obviously can't keep both the Orange and BT internet. Can anyone advise me to anything regarding this sor of situation. I don't really want to give up my internet, and would prefer to be rid of BT if the choice exists, but one way or the other one of them is going to have to be cancelled as we will not have enough houses for it.
Thanks, and I hope that makes enough sense/isn't too drivelly.

To my mind the only viable option is to cancel the Orange broadband but keep the mobile phone assuming that you can but you really need to put a price on cancelling each by phoning CS and getting the cost. Make sure you don't accidentally cancel both of course.
Neither are regarded as being good ISPs by most people here.0 -
Cheers mate. I will give a call and try and find out from both, just figured best to check everything first.
I'm surprised that neither are considered good ISPs however: I hate BT, but I have never had any problems with Orange, and have been really impressed with their service - especially considering the low cost.0 -
Cancel whichever is cheapest to cancel, if it's BT then move Orange to your new address, which will avoid any cease charge from them.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
