The forum team have had to remove some more posts, so here's a wee reminder of forum rules ;)
    • Posting is a privilege not a right. This is a privately owned site. Posting is a privilege, not a right. Any inappropriate posts or any issues that take up a disproportionate amount of site resources or make it a worse place to be will be stopped at our discretion - with or without explanation. No one pays to use this site; when there are issues we pay to resolve them. And sometimes we need to prioritise spending money on the site, other issues or better resources.
    • Please be nice to all MoneySavers. That’s the forum motto. Remember the prime aim is to help provide info and resources. If you don’t like someone, their situation, their question or feel they’re intruding on ‘your board’ then please bite the bullet and think of the bigger issue... a Guardian article recently “doffed its cap” to this forum as being the one place where consumers can collect together and fight back, our job is to help keep it that way.

    Thank you :)

    Hi folks,

A charity which I'm helping to set up will be having our first stall at a craft fair in the next few weeks. I'm a little concerned because we're new and don't have any real experience of it, so would any of you like to share any tips for first-timers? :-)

    Thanks!

What are you going to be selling?

Make your table display look attractive, make sure the tablecloth goes right down to the floor and tidy boxes etc under the table out of sight, add a bit of height with shelves etc to the stand.

Be aware of other stands around you especially ones with expensive or breakable products on them, and be careful you don't knock items off your neighbours stand when moving in and out from behind the stand.

Enjoy the day and good luck!
DJWW - cos we won't let it!

    Hi, dont be worried,
just urn up in good time to set up, make sure you know he prices and any information, have some cash to star you with, write down every thing you sell so you can tell how you did, bring a flask with you for tea and coffe as some places dont do this, and some lunch . if your ousside a gazibo with weights is a good idea and some chairs and a table, if inside find out if they do tables and bring a nice table cloth too cover the tble. have a freat day and let us know how you got on.
