  • Thanks for replying Smokiewater. We ended up in Hillmount Garden Centre and I bought some lovely card making bits n pieces whilst hubby pottered about. Then finished of with a large slice of Pavalova - perfect day really.

I make cards as you have gathered but have only done 2 very small local craft fairs (that small that there was only me and one other stall at one of them!!) I haven't attended other fairs to buy or sell and I was interested to see what else was out there and of course be tempted by all the lovely items on offer.

    Thanks again.

You should pop down to the craft fair in Victoria Square some Sunday, it is on this Sunday and then everyother Sunday until the end of October - it is always good craic!
DJWW - cos we won't let it!
  • Yep £35.00 - I did it last year in all the bad weather. maybe it was the weather that put people off but sat from 11.00 that morning til 5.00pm that night and didnt even make the cost of table. Hope we do not have the same weather conditions over this winter as last as I think it affected quite a few events.

Didnt mind the £35 as my mum was suffering from breast cancer and had been for 36 years on and off but was a bit deflated at the turnout.

I did this two years ago and sold nothing, turn out was awful. Wasn't very well advertised and Archie is such a lovely man, but like yourself I think I would rather but the money in the charity box, as by the time I arranged babysitters, diesel and time it just wasn't worth it.
    Jesus is alive!!!
  • Closing date for Glenlola craft fair coming up - some tables still available but will be limited to type of craft sold.
Was really good last year for me and was well attended.

I have sent my form off already Jill!

It was great for us last year too, really nice crowd, big hall and loads of interesting crafters!

Any chance I could have a stall nearer the entrance this year - my stuff is sooo heavy!

Glad you did well last year - there was a great crowd right from the start. We will be in the same hall.
