Never used bluetooth before, i would like to send my friend a photo via bluetooth...searched for her phone and found it...tried to pair the phones then it said enter passcode...where do i get the pass code ?

Passcode - person sending message will be asked to create one. Choose any number - say 111.

Recipient will have to type in matching number to accept connection.

Indeed as already posted, the passnumber you do create. This is a security measure to stop people just blue toothing into your phone.

I might add also as a side note, the BT ( bluetooth ) will drain down your battery as does wifi, so make sure you turn it off after use.
