Morning Ladies
Played with pennies calculator all day and then read Macgirls diary - very good. Apart from that little done but a relaxing day was very welcomed.
ESSAYS - damn things still have not got one written and only 5 weeks to do 6 (I can defer to October but really don't want to) So have challenged Pickle to a 'school work' day.
Regular daily housework is helping to give me my weekends back but do need to do some today.
Finished business accounts for January - a slow month as DH was on holiday first week and didn't start back to 10th. However still had a 90% increase on sales this time last year which is fabby. First quarter over and we have sales equal to first six months of last year which is great news. This is primarily due to DH getting more accounts because clearly, when you come sales per shop with last year, there is a reduction. Expenses, esp fuel and flour, are going up and up but cant see any room for 'rationalisation'.
Accoutant got taxes filed and no tax due (happy days) We are taking on another worker (one of the existings has told DH he is looking for another job) I do hope he works out.
If we were not in debt, we could see the benefit of this increase in sales. But on a positive note, which is what I promised this diary would be, we may get debt cleared quicker because of this increase. So upwards and onwards!LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

I got my degree through distance learning and found it so hard to be disciplined! I would look for ways to distract myself - my house had never been so clean
Good luck with the essays.
On bright side - well done with all those sales. Won't be long before you feel the benefit!Proud to be dealing with my debts, light bulb moment: 2/1/2010, reviewed 7/1/20120 -

Oh Reddie, I'm not much better! :rotfl:
I went up in the attic before to put some stuff up there, and also brought down a box of books so that I finally know exactly how many I have to read (answer: even more than lots). I then started to catalogue them as I'm sure I made a list of the other ones cos of the 'No More Reading Books...' challenge (I did one for the toiletries challenge). I couldn't find it, but did it anyway.
Yesterday I told Picklemum that there was a special offer on her preferred brand of washing-up liquid, so she wanted to go pick some up. Would I go with her? Why not, after all I need to buy a birthday card which I need to drop off to a friend's house today?
Just back, books catalogued (created a bit of much-needed space it t'attic).
Anything else I can do other than my homework?! :rotfl:Please call me 'Pickle'
No More Buying Books: ???
No More Buying DVDs: ???
NMB Toiletries ??? and I've gone back for my Masters at the University of Use Ups!
