I have a Wii problem!

Do you think if he does that he will lose the downloaded games(old sonic)or can he save them to SD card first.I suppose if there is nothing else for it he will have to try that.Just hope that does work fingers crossed.:undecided

as far as I know you can save games
but I have never done that myself

I did have problems when we changed are provider from Tiscali to Sky. I couldn't get anything so I ended up formatting then doing another search and it picked up the new codes, also had the
same problem with DSI so I did the same and they both now work ok

Reformatting your Wii at this point is a bit drastic, and would involve work to backup and game-saves etc.

I would delete all the Internet connections first, then try reinstalling again. Make sure you have your router settings to hand, including your WiFi access code.

Well nothing else was working so I got my son to format the Wii today,and hey presto IT WORKS :j!!!
Thanks you all so much for your time,all I have to do now is figure out how to stop him and his sister arguing over whos turn it is next.

Well done babystep - glad you got there in the end, even if it was the more drastic solution that did it.

Hope you managed to backup all your game-saves and downloaded games etc !
