Borderline Personality Disorder Support Thread

Richie, I appreciate and welcome your comments, however I have not, will not and cannot judge anybody here. Everybody has their own personal circumstances and everybody here has a right to be so. I certainly have not imposed any kind 'decision' as to what can and cannot be discussed here and nor would I attempt to do so. My concern was that people who suffer from BPD can be very strong yet very vulnerable and those less understanding of the condition may see threads such as these as an open invitation to criticise or attempt to distress those who choose to post here. Unfortunately, I have seen it before on two seperate message boards and one incident ended up being escalated to the point where the police had to become involved.
I empathise with and sympathise with all who suffer from mental health problems, in whatever capacity they may be, but I also have an urge to protect those who can be vulnerable as I know that threads such as this do, on occasion, have the propensity to become volatile.
My point is that I did not and would never attempt to make judgement on any individual, nor have I attempted to impose restrictions on what can and cannot be discussed. This is not my website, nor do I moderate it. I was just expressing my opinion out of concern for those who have been trusting enough to tell their story, or at least a tiny part of it.
I would also like to add that I have the greatest of respect for everybody who has posted on this thread and that if people saw my post as some kind of attack, then I apologise that it has been taken as such but was in no way intended. I thought that the way my post was worded was a clear enough sign that I was not criticising or attacking posters on this or any other thread.0 -
In Munkees defence, it was actually me who dug it up, but then after Munkee posted I deleted my commentTwo4Tuesday wrote: »It's interesting that you had to dig up a year-old thread to complain about this. I had forgotten all about it :T
