At the parcel company I used to do night trunking for, in the fortnight run up to Xmas they were processing over 250,000 parcels PER NIGHT. Occassionally the odd problem is going to appear.
As you don't tolerate any delay at all, even in the worst December we've had for over a century, in future, I suggest that next time its 3-4ft deep in snow over much of the UK you travel to the company/individual you bought it from and collect it yourself.
Of course I allow for delay but its been 25 days waitingf for a parcel when they said they didnt have any delays at our depot and then when we go and collect they keep us waiting for half an hour to admit they dont know where they put it
Its my christmas present so I could hardly go get it myself though I will try and make sure in the future nothing is getting bought from a company who use citylink for there deliveries. I had to leave the waiting room as my fella had to describe what it was to them. The customer service is really bad.Needing to lose weight start date 26 December 2011 current loss 60 pound Down. I got a Christmas Card posted on the 8th December just yesterday, it had a first class stamp on it, it had come from less than 100 miles away, and no, not in Scotland.;)0 -

While I was waiting for that package I got a note through the letter box from postie. There was an excess charge of £1.32 owed on an underpaid item. Obviously thinking that was what had held it up, I battled through the crowd at the sorting office the next day to pay and collect.
All for a !!!!!!! xmas card with no stamp on it from her indoors mate that I don't even know :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

As has been explained countless times, in BUSINESS DAYS it hasn't been 25 or anywhere close, especially with FOUR being lost for Xmas/Boxing Day alone.
No it hasnt been that in business days but as you said before city link were good at posting the delays at depots and there was no delays getting it to the hub it was coming from the hub to the delivery depot which wasnt closed and didnt have a delay
Its stil a lot longer than any other firms took to deliver and it does show their bad customer service that they say come down and pick it up and then they cant find itNeeding to lose weight start date 26 December 2011 current loss 60 pound Down. Lots more to go to get into my size 6 jeans0
