Thanks. Bump.Old Faithful we roam the range together,
Old Faithful in any kind of weather,
When the round up days are over,
And the Boulevard’s white with clover,
For you old faithful pal of mine.
Giddy up old fella cos the moon is yellow tonight,
Giddy up old fella cos the moon is mellow and bright,
There’s a coyote crying at the moon above,
Carry me back to the one I love,
And you old faithful pal of mine.0 -
THis is the same price on the currys website but they are doing a deal with a further 10%off all online purchases by entering the code :: Code removed. Please do not give codes without a valid source - FM :: . so it works out £76.98!! Hope this helps...0

An "external drive" has the hardware to support connecting a standard SATA/ or PATA hard drive to a PC via USB (2).
A network drive or "network attached storage" (NAS) is a more complicated beasty - effectively a mini computer in its own right it has a network interface and the hardware on board to handle requests from other devices on the network (they usually have a chip-embedded operating system on board)- sometimes these can also act as simple FTP or web servers - a bit more than just a hard-drive in a box.Wins so far this year: It's been a quiet year so far0 -

An external drive plugs into one PC and is only available if that PC is turned on.
A Network drive plugs into your network and stays on all the time and any of your networked PCs can use it. Some of them come with backup software which can automatically make backups of important folders on the various PCs.
Some of the network drives also allow a printer to be connected to them which then becomes an always-available shared resource.
Networks can be wireless or wired, depending on the whether the network drive has wireless connectivity.
Usually you need a router to set up your network (typically these have 4 ethernet wired connections and may also have wireless) which serves up network addresses to all the connected PCs .
Edit: you're a faster typist than me Misterel - lol0 -
so good tis worth a bump.Jertzy x0

This drive comes pre-formatted as FAT32, which has a maximum file size of 4 GB. If you want to store larger files (e.g. videos, disk image backups), then reformat it as NTFS.
To do this, right-click the drive in My Computer and click Format. Make sure you're formatting the external drive (called SEA_DISC) and not another, choose NTFS as the File system and click Start.
If there are any files on it already and you want to keep them, copy them to the C: drive before reformatting, otherwise you'll lose them.0
