What we were told when I started at CableTel as an installer many moons ago,is that a lot of councils give blanket permission for installation of Cable/Satallite ect.The only time I have came across a problem was when a bloke in an upstairs flat wanted Cable installed. He had to seek a wayleave permission from the woman down below him as she owned her flat as well as the front garden, which the cable would have to cut thru.
  • With Digital Switch Over fast approaching being nationwide this situation will become more widespread as councils start applying the national guidelines of planning permission being required for more than two dishes on any one building (regardless of number of occupants/tenants/leaseholders) and even tighter guidelines in conservation areas and on listed buildings..
