Are 3 really that difficult to deal with ...

Just spent a frustrating 20 minutes on the phone with 3 customer services trying to arrange to finalise my wifes contract (she had already spent a frustrating 30 minutes before that) debating what had and had not been said.

She had already arranged in December to change various aspects of her tariff for January - none of which (somehow) had not been done and so none of the cancelation fees matched up to the information from December.

Eventually, the figures were understood and agreed (on the older more expensive tariff naturally) and the PAC will be issued within 48 hrs......

I've had my own issues with them (though not as bad) in the past getting a PAC for my PAYG sim (which I'd previously PAC'd from Vodafone). My sister had issues in the past.

Is it just me or is 3 really just that difficult to deal with.?

Does/has anyone else get/gotten inconsistent or misleading information from them?

Is it a language issue/misunderstanding.?

(whinge over) :D

I have been with them for 6 months now and have had cause to speak with them on several occasions. I have always had my query dealt with quickly and efficiently. My only gripe is the 'survey' calls after I have dealt with them asking me how they did.

    No complaints here.

With the OP here, dreadful company to deal with, never again.
  • I find a quick email to the Executive Ofice usually sorts things out. I give the frontline staff a chance first, though, and more often than not I've been happy with what has resulted. I've never had a survey call, I have to say.

was with them 3 yrs ago & was the biggest mare of my life for customer services..said i would never touch them again, but they have some v good deals on the iphone so now just taken the plunge..i hope i dont have to deal with them idoits in india agian..
  • Thanks for the replies folks. Was just curious.

The following day (presumably after having reviewed their phone call tapes) they called my wife and offered her a pretty good deal on the iPhone and £150 in Comet vouchers.........

She said no. She already has her Desire HD on T-Mobile with a contract that she is delighted with and didn't really want an iPhone.

Had three simply offered a matching deal on the HD 4 weeks ago when she told them "I will buy a new contract with T-Mobile tomorrow" they would have made her a happy 3 punter again and kept a customer.

Totally foxxes me why they don't wan to deal until it's too late.... what do they expect - that after they have completely P1**3d you off you will then suddenly go back to them cos they offer something half decent......

Don't get it. I had the same issue with Vodafone after 10yrs loyalty... oh well.
