The venue we have chosen does little jars of home made chutney as favours (from produce grown on site).

We did a homemade version of this. I bought a box of 140 miniature jars and lids from ebay (about £34) and made chutney myself from a mix of bought and homegrown fruit and veg then printed labels that matched the rest of the stationery I'd made.

I've got travel sized beauty products for the ladies, and the men can go without :rotfl:
  • We are not having favours - but instead having a box of 6 chocs in each of the hotel bedrooms for guests who are staying to have a wee treat either before or after the wedding. A local chocolate maker is making them for us.

We are going traditional and having a little pretty box with 5 chocolate sweets in (I know it's meant to be almonds but we don't like almonds!)

we've got miniature Green & Blacks bars on the tables, a mix of milk, white and dark chocolate singles. I bought them in bulk from Green & Blacks Direct online. Not pretty or personalised (I could have spent more to get them with ribbon!), but to me its just a token gesture and doesn't have to be too much! I would happily go without really, but gave into wedding magazine pressure!!

    Hi,
We're going to have little boxes with 5 mini eggs in. I know its supposed to be almonds but i don't like them and the h2b is an egg farmer so will hopefully make every one chuckle!

Candy bar is large jars of sweets and you put bags on the tables so guests can help themselves to sweets like a sweet shop :)

flip flops i got off here its where you put a basket of them out on the dancefloor at night for the ladies whos feet are hurting from wearing high shoes-it means they can dance!! xx
