Does the San Francisco work on 3 mobile?

Hi,

Can someone please confirm that once unlocked, the San Francisco can be used on the 3 mobile network?

Also, is the unlocking that easy, or is it worth spending the £10 or whatever a shop would want to do the unlock?

Is it worth upgrading to Android 2.2 as some people have reported issues on freezing?

yes it is a 3G phone so will (and does) work 100% (you just have to have the 2G only mode turned off)

the unlock process is easy peasy watch this vid how to
I would say there is zero reason to pay any money for an unlock code as you can get exactly the same code for free just read here

there is no 2.2 update for it yet, but you can root and debrand (flash a custom firmware) the handset but that will void your warranty, people are working on an unofficial 2.2 update, and there might be an official 2.2 upgrade at some point, but for now it is stuck on 2.1.

There is a 2.2 update, hubby put it on my SF yesterday. I am still getting used to it, certain elements of it I don't like but they are silly things that have been changed from the original so I'm sure I'll get used to it soon.....hubby is always telling me I don't like change

I think he got the 2.2 from modaco forums?
