Hi,
I'm thinking of buying a balanced flue gas fire for a new extension in my house. I've got a number of prices for different types including those made by Faber, Gazco and Drugas. Each retailer tells me that their's is the best. I'm thinking of going with Faber. can anyone give me any advice please?

In my experience of many years in the gas fire industry, all those brands you mention are good and each has various useful features and benefits.
If you know exactly what style, ease of installation and running costs that you want, you should be able to chose between them.
If you don't, take a look at my blog for more info - urbangasfires.wordpress.com - or you are welcome to ask me specific questions.
