Samsung U.S. style Fridge freezer any good?

looking to buy an American style fridge found this is http://www.empiredirect.co.uk/content/products/details/?modelcode=SAM-RS21DCSV about cheapest. Anyone out there that can recommend this model? OR is it worth to pay the extra for a 'better' name say Whirlpool, or Hotpoint?

Also, if you buy this fridge, do a google search or ebay for replacement water filters. £50 from samsung:eek: had 2 from ebay before for £14:D0

I assume the water filter is for the ice/water dispenser? How often do they need replacing?0
