LND box broken on aerial

Hi anyone know if this is easy enough to change ourselves or is it best to get someone in?

If it is easy enough can you advise what tools we need & where to get a replacement (a guide would be good! :))

Thanks

Calm down dear simple mistake, and technically a dish and lnb set is an aerial.
  • oooooo sorry went away from the comp for a short while! What I mean is we have an aeriel (I'm a little nervous as I'm not sure whay I did to get bolded and loads of ????) on our roof Its not satelite, we have freeview. There is a box attached to the aeriel which is a spliter (spilts the lead 3 ways for different rooms in the house) we were told this was called a LND it looks like this has been boken as we haven't been able to get a signal for the last couple of days lots of stalling, and then oh went up there did "something" and now there's no signal!

OK its not an LNB, its either a passive or an active splitter.

I wouldnt suggest DIY for any of this its not a big issue just get a local installer in as I suggested here, the down sides of DIY chimney work can be life ending.

sounds like a masthead amplifier , there is a box by the aerial on the roof and a mains adapter indoors by the aerial socket that powers the splitter on the outside
