will o2 match?
Hi All,
I'm currently on an o2 simplicity 12 month deal and as I like o2 would ideally like to stay with them as they've always been really good for customer service/help/advice etc.
However 3/t-mobile have better deals - does anyone know if o2 instore will price match/haggle on a deal? Not so much a deal more a tariff as it's not a special offer on 3/t-mobile
TIA

You won't know until you ask them, however they can easily call your bluff, if you really feel you will be getting better VFM from another provider then why not just go with them?0

There's not a huge amount in it really, just would be tied to a contract elsewhere and get a free phone whereas with o2 I'd do 12month simplicity and buy a phone.
I've always rated o2's customer service0 -

Depends on what one determines as free, having been out of contracts for 2 yrs, I would always sooner buy the handset outright and continue with a sim only deal, last month I sent 80 mms , 750 text messages, used 594 mins on voicecalls and plenty of data for the princley sum of £19.99
I'd hate to think what that would have cost me if I was still on Orange with my 'free'handset, but bills were landing for £60 a month for less than 200 mins and 200 texts and the odd pic message and email check
I suppose owning the handset outright makes one a little more vigilant and careful with it's whereabouts too
