  • Hi all,

This is my first post on this thread, but it is exactly what I need to make sure that I do the things that I say I am going to do.

    Things I will do today:
    • Wash the car instead of spending £4 on getting it washed
    • Ebay everything that I can think of
    • Go for a run (with the running club or without)
    • Plan my lunch for work
    • Add to my £365 in 365 days
    • Work out my finances etc for the coming year

Fingers crossed I get it all done.

    Thought i'd get involved!

    Today is a simples one!

Still at the parents, as i stayed here over the new year weekend.
Mum cooked me a ham to take home with me, so WIN!
Picking up a mate on the way home (about a 4 hour drive) so that will lessen the petrol cost a little.

After that I'll be good for nothing with hurty eyes from driving, although I'll put a washing load on before bed.

Cancel WW monthly pass, really hard to get to meetings since being back at work, keep saying I'll go next week and never do. Once cancellation has processed activate online via quidco. Works out effectively free for 3 months :D

why don't u just do these then stitchy? If its what you want to do then do it! when I'm struggling between what I WANT to do & what I think I SHOULD do I always try to think if today was my last day on earth and tomorrow on my death bed would I be thinking "thank god I spent my last hours doing all those boring chores" or would I rather be thinking "yippee I'm glad I did what made me hapy, sod the chores!" ;)
Funny you should say that! DH and I had that discussion yesterday. Many people say "live each day as if it were your last" but in reality that's impossible. I wouldn't bother going to work, I'd even tell my boss exactly what I think of him. I would totally blow the budget doing things like visiting family and friends in far-flung places and eating in the best restaurants. Great if it really WAS my last day, but actually I'd wake up the next day with no job and no money :rotfl:

I tried phoning re my electricity DD but Briti$h Ga$ are closed today, so instead I have spent the morning in the sewing room cutting out my hat. Now to stitch it all together.......

If that's my ski hat then it's not that one, although I'd like that back too :p I mean the black one I had when working at The Hollows - making it about 9 years ago I lost it!!

milly - welcome back, we've missed you!

    • [STRIKE]Scour forums for more tips[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]NSD[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Leave hair to dry naturally[/STRIKE]
