Which hotel? Or don't you know yet.

The onsite parking at most hotels isn't secure. If the 'parking' is a voucher for an airport car park then most of those are secure.

I don't know yet (2.1 miles away). Spoke to the reps on the phone and they say it's parking at the airport and i DON'T have to leave the keys with them.

So i'm assuming it's just regular Airport Car Park operated via barriers?

Has anyone booked the undercover hotels that don't use the Heathrow Hoppa? I'm getting quotes of £60 for the hotel with 'parking at hotel' rather than £85 for the cheapest 'Heathrow Hoppa' hotel, which is the Comfort Hotel and not an undercover hotel.

Here are the details of the undercover hotel's transfers.
    Transfers from the hotel
    Take: 15-25 minutes
    Every: 8 minutes
    Run: 24 hours a day
    Cost: £2.20
    Children under 11 travel free.
What do I do on the morning of my flight?
You must check out by 11am.
There are two public buses which run from the hotel to the airport every eight minutes. Bus 285 runs to terminals 1 and 3, and bus 490 runs to terminals 4 and 5. Tickets cost £2.20 per person - children under 11 travel free - and the journey takes between 15 and 25 minutes.
Bus 285 runs 24 hours a day; bus 490 does not run through the night, but you can get bus 285 to terminals 1 and 3, and then catch the free Heathrow Connect train to terminal 4, or the free Heathrow Express train to terminal 5. A taxi from the hotel to the airport will cost about £15
    Hope someone can help.

Sounds like somewhere in Feltham with those two buses

Possibly the St Giles - though it's about 5 minutes walk from Feltham station which is where those buses go from

The timings are a tad optimistic

Thank you... that gives me somewhere to start anyway. I'll have a google for the St Giles.

Just booked it and yes, it is the St Giles! Thank you!

Our flight is at 11am so need to be at terminal 3 at about 8am (so will leave the hotel at 7am - we'll be too excited to sleep anyway!)

It would have cost £85 plus £7 each for the Comfort Hotel and Heathrow Hoppa (£99 total) but by paying £60 plus £4.40 each for the bus (£68.80 total) we won't be worrying so much about the over-inflated breakfast prices at the airport!

    Thanks dzug1

ETA: £7.20 tracking on Quidco already!
