Can't see how the figure of 9 kwh at 10.30 in the morning can be correct for that size of system. Peak time isn't until approx 13:00. Be interested in how much you get across the entire of the day.

I still have not got bored of checking my system. A new record today of 28.16kWh and it is still going just. :D
It was interesting that the day you got your personal best Jackieblack we had a good day but not that good IYSWIM. Amazing how figures can differ over a county isn't it.
smartn my system had also produced at least that much by 10.30am Doesn't it make a difference which way your roof is facing? I have noticed we start producing quite early but now at 7.00pm although it is still light the figures are negligable.

We worked out that if we produced this much every single day for the entire year we would make over £4500 :T:T(Before anyone tells me this isn't possible I KNOW.....I was just seeing how much it would be) My only problem is I am a gardener and I am getting desperate for some rain. I shall probably be spending all my FIT money on water(we are metered here):o
Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D
  • I'm a gardener too and we're threatened with water meters withing a year or two. The water table is only 12 ft down - any tips for digging your own bore hole?

i would think it cheaper to bury a couple thousand liter tank and fill it from rainwater over the winter

I was reading a report that stated properly conducted site surveys produced estimates that turned out to be remarkably accurate taken over a 12 month period.

To all you folks who have not had Solar long, please check that your Mains meter is correct, and not like mine, and racking the electricity on that you are producing. I am not the only person this has happened to.

Now is the time that you are able to check.

Sorry to keep repeating myself, but I was really enthusiastic re what we were generating, and didn't check the Mains meter well enough.

All you need to do is switch everything off in the house for about an hour, and see if the main meter still clocks up KW. It is easy to do at the moment, as the panels are generating very quickly - need to turn everything off much longer if its duller.

I'm guessing you must be pretty much due South facing, I'm slightly off South so I do lose a little first thing in the morning. Managed 14 kWh today on a 2.11 system so pleased with that. Was 57% over predicted in March and 39% April so can't complain. I think the green project were quite conservative with their projections for me as the online projections were about 10-15% higher then green projects and I've comfortably exceeded those in each of the 6 months since install bar February.
