I wonder when people will get bored of monitoring their daily solar kWh generation - a few months, a few years, never?

im sure the novelty will wear off soon but at the mo its abit magnetising. its nice to keep a record of what gets produced each day.

I have hooked up my sunny boy inverter to http://www.pvoutput.org/, it automativlly updates it every 10 minutes. So I can check how I'm doing anywhere that has web access.

Can you give me more details of what information you exactly get? Ideally current and past solar generation and current and past exportation together with current and past leccy purchased.

If you want to contact me privately I'm trevor at woldsweather.co.uk in East Yorkshire

It takes all the generation data held in the inverter and uploads it.

If your lookiung to monitor USEAGE then you need a different service such as google powermeter or alertme.com
