  • Generation today 6.077kW

Generation today 7.79 kWh (Non posh meter with only 2 decimal places.).
Here in S.Essex, my panels face SE.
  • Oh my goodness JP I didn't realise you were also in Essex,
.....it was my day off yesterday and I was dissappointed that it wasn't as sunny as Thursday. Still in the Barry afternoon sunshine I mowed the lawn. With my electric mower of course.:D

Morning TG, but be careful, one minute you say you are in Essex, the next you're enjoying the sun in 'Gavin and Stacey' land, in South Wales.

Don't you remember what happened last time a member of the Essex crew made a mistake about their address? They're watching you!

Have fun, might have to mow the lawns myself too, if they ever dry out properly. Nothing but moss now it seems.

Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Too late, we're already on to you. ;)

As we speak, the satellites are being re-configured, and the men-in-black have been despatched!

Actually, to be honest, funds are a little tight at the moment, so we've just put Bob in a dark blue jumper, and given him a disposable camera tied to a long stick. But, hey, give us a break, we're doing our best, times are hard!

  • You will never find me. I've hidden myself in Essex's famous secret nuclear bunker.;)

The one with all the signs pointing to it...or is this a double bluff?

    Making the most of it....

My Ecodan heat pump (8.5kW) is running, heating the house, and drawing a steady 960 Watts/hr, its 8.50am, 7.1 degrees outside, and my panels are currently generating 1.36kW's.....who else is getting their heating for free?

Sound good to me. I am currently plumbing in a 7 kw heat pump to heat my koi pond. Panels produced almost 10kwh with a max of 2.8kw yesturday and we are still in febuary so hoping to run the heat pump for free during the day

I don't know about you, but our house certainly doesn't need heating during the day and hasn't done for a few weeks, so it doesn't really enter into it!
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.
