Very impressive results Don
But no security seal on the meter ? I thought it was compulsory ?0 -
That's only applicable to meters owned by the supplier, the generation meter is part of the system and paid for by the system owner/FIT's claimant AFAIK
There's no seal on mine either.
You'd be caught out fiddling any generation readings anyway should anyone feel that way inclined, as soon as your readings look out of line with the norm you can expect a visit from your supplier to check within a few days0 -

Nice catch Brian.
Didn't know that Mysterons. Just checked mine. Both (import and TGM) are co-incidentally Landis & Gyr E110 models.
Yep, spot on, the import has a security tag, the TGM none. Live and learn every day.
Mart.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Mart.
Both my meters have the security tags, the installer implied it was essential !! Not that I would fiddle the meter anyway; as Mysterons says they will be checking that generation is roughly as expected.0 -
Not sure I should bother getting embroiled in the arguments on here but I too live in sunny Essex.(hello jackieblack:wave:) sorry I haven't posted much but family life is a bit manic. Was at work so long I didn't even notice the sun but when I popped in my garage I saw we had produced 16. Something kWh here today. .....wish I'd set the washing machine on for the middle of the day as well as the dishwasher.Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D0

I think for most people setting the wishdasher and washing m/c for the same time wouldn't work. For my machines:
WD peak = 1kW+
W m/c peak = 2kW+
I'd need to be almost at my peak output to cover both these, and my background usage without having to import.
I tend to offset the WD to start 30 minutes after the W m/c starts, as the W m/c only uses the heater once to heat the wash water at the start, whereas the WD heats twice - once at the start to heat the wash water and once near the end to heat the final rinse water.4kWp, Panels: 16 Hyundai HIS250MG, Inverter: SMA Sunny Boy 4000TLLocation: Bedford, Roof: South East facing, 20 degree pitch20kWh Pylontech US5000 batteries, Lux AC inverter,Skoda Enyaq iV80, TADO Central Heating control0 -

I know exactly what you mean about work/family
Please keep popping in when you can though, there appears to be alot of testosterone flying around lately and it's all been getting a bit competitive/confrontational
(Why do some men have to turn everything into a wi**y-waving competition?)
