HTC Wildfire Housing...

I'm looking to buy a couple of unlocked HTC wildfires. The best value one I can find is only available in white, (which is fine for the Mrs) however I would prefer the standard Mocha coloured one myself. (aren't white phones a bit... umm....feminine?)

If I buy a white phone and but a replacement Mocha battery cover will this look odd or mismatched?

I'm not sure, but I have a feeling that the front bezels on the main units are slightly different metallic colour between white and mocha units. It may all be in my mind though.

Has anyone here done this? Alternatively anyone know of a good sim free deal for Mocha units?

You could instead purchase a black silicon "skin" that fits tightly around the Wildfire, it'd cover most (if not all) of the white.

I'm actually able to get some for £129 unlocked and unbranded, but only in white. I notice Expansys have Mocha Battery covers along with silver fro £16. Hence my query.

Thanks, I thought about that. I'm a pain though. I buy covers with good intentions, but then end up not using them as I prefer the phone as they are.

May be an option though.

The front colour would mismatch on a white htc wildfire if you stick a black battery cover on.

Rather than battery cover, why not pick up a case for the whole phone for £2.75 delivered.
I got it for my htc wildfire - without the case, the phone is fragile to carry around.

White is ok for male - pink might twirl a few eyes.
Just search for on ebay for "htc wildfire case" - I got mine as I say £2.75 delivered and its pretty good.

I bought a clear case for a wildfire it didnt fit, Seller sent another and that was the same. In the junk draw
i couldnt be bothered sending them back for the sake of £3 minus return postage of course.

Has to be said that £129 is an amazing price esp unlocked. Best I can find is at Tesco for £159 and that is tied to their network. Please pass on details.
