Evening,
Has anyone ever taken their dog on one of The Sun caravan holidays? From what we have read, they tell you to book first and then they will let you know if you can take your dog. They say they cannot guarantee that your dog will be allowed on the park you have chosen. The only problem with this is that you could then have a holiday booked and paid for, but are not allowed to take your dog. We need to be sure that our dog will be allowed to come with us before we pay and wondered if there were any ways round this?**BERTIE**Did you Know: It costs more than £325,000 a day to run the lifeboat service? (with no government funding) Please donate to the RNLI0 -
Have the Sun stopped sending out as many priority codes now. We've been going for 15 plus years and always got priority codes but have not had any for the last 3 offers. I was very lucky last time around to get a code from a kind MSEr but its really disheartening now as the list is huge which I'm guessing means no chance of a code. We've not moved or anything and I did call them last time and was told the codes get sent out randomly.0

Yes we always take our dog thats the main reason why we book them.
The way to do it is to identify where you want to go and look up the caravan park online to see if they accept dogs, it is normally in the lowest standard of accommodation and most places charge extra.
Then book as per normal your Sun holiday. I think there is a space on the form for special requests, thats where I advise them that we want dog friendly accommodation, if not dont worry.
As soon as you have your confirmation contact the holiday park directly and they will allocate dog friendld accommodation and take the fee from you.
We normally stay in Park Resorts as they are dog friendly.0 -

I'm a bit confused - I've recieved my priority code and the letter says you can book online from Saturday 15th Jan. But the booklet says you can book online from Friday 14th Jan - how can that be done when you need 8 tokens/codewords and there will only be 7 by Friday?0
