Windows Vista - Free Upgrade - NOT BETA!!!

I would be very war of any offers like this just now.
Heres the extract about it from the Microsoft techweb E-Mail
Express upgrade to Windows Vista
Get the best today and tomorrow. Buy a qualifying PC running Windows XP Professional, Windows XP Media Centre Edition, or Windows XP Tablet PC Edition today, and you'll get an Express Upgrade to Windows Vista.
Nothing mentioned about Home edition... And I think its only the basic so no Ultimate version.0 -
The free upgrades do upgrade to appropriate equivaltent editions of Vista. It is worth waiting to see what prices are available elsewhere. Its highly unlikely that Microsoft are only doing business with Aria and therefore, you might be able to get a better deal on the promotion.
However, once Vista is launched its unlikely that you'll be able to get it at a cheaper price than the current falling prices of XP. It's definately something to watch out for.
Its especially good for those that already have XP a long time ago or are system builders - to get a new CD/DVD with the latest version with all the service packs on is great!

Freebies go in the freebie forum, not Quick! Grabbit. If it's in Quick! Grabbit then it won't usually be free

The point I was trying to make was that people shouldn't be suggesting that your title was misleading, as the thread wouldn't have been in the Quick! Grabbit forum if the product was completely free. So far from criticising you, I was actually sticking up for you...There are too many people too quick to criticize on these forums, I don't know why I bothered
Thanks to all who post constructively.
Have an A1 day!0 -

It is not an exclusive aria deal. You could get it even if you have a valid licence now. See here:
