I beg to differ.
Once an item leaves my front door, then it is Royal Mail's responsibility to ensure it arrives at the destination.
I sold a mobile phone charger just before xmas, which the buyer claimed she didnt recieve. I replied to ger saying to give it a little longer because of the snow. Her reply was to leave a -feedback to me. I replied asking why she did this, and she said "she didnt know what else to do" To cut a very long story short, the item turned up, she made herself look stupid and i got a feedback revision.0 -

Unfortunately your own misunderstanding of your seller responsibilities makes you look foolish, I strongly suggest that you check your responisibilities under both ebay and paypal rules and also under UK law and adjust your thinking before you have more issues.
If I buy from you and the item doesn't arrive all I have to do is open a paypal INR claim and i will win, there is no other outcome possible. It doesn't matter what you think, no one, including ebay and paypal agree with you.
Incidentally if i had been th ebuyer in your example I certainly would not have revised my feedback even if item did arrive, the fact that you tried to refuse me a refund would mean a neg would stay.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. You were very lucky. If she had opened a dispute she would have won (most buyers would just do this) Also any disputes will effect your seller compliance and therefore could endanger your account. With you denying your responsibilities you could easily be the one looking foolish.clivejohnson wrote: »I beg to differ.

When you buy from online companies what do you do if an item doesn't arrive? Ignore it as it's not theire responsibility as they have posted it? I doubt it very much0
